License was not obtained - tried maya 2012 (657D1 2012.0.0.f), error 20

This is the maya 2012 license.env
MAYA_LICENSE=Unlimited
MAYA_LICENSE_METHOD=Standalone
MAYA_LICENSE_METHOD=Standalone
This is the adlminfo from matchmover…

Just had a quick search and found this forum. Just a quicky really. Just have to copy the license.env from:
/Applications/Autodesk/Maya 2012/Maya.app/Contents/license.env
to:
/Applications/Autodesk/MatchMover2012/MatchMover2012.app/Contents/license.env
Works a charm. Must just be a bug with the Mac OS X version
Thanks! Worked like a charm!
ReplyDeleteI tried it on Mac OS X, and it didn't work. Sorry....
ReplyDeleteI think first you have to make sure the student version of Maya is working fine. If so, the license file Maya uses can be copied to MatchMover. To get to the file just right click on Maya application in the Application folder and select "show package contents". This opens a new window. Inside the contents folder you'll find license.env. Copy this file.
DeleteNext go to Matchmover in the Applications folder. Right click and select "show package contents". open the Contents folder and paste the file in here.
