- Sign up to no-ip
- setup a Host/Redirect
- Host type "DNS Host (A)"
- get it to use the ip address of your home machine
- install the no-ip client
- and set it up
- do port forwarding on your rooter to get it to point to the right computer on your home network
- Buy a domain (I did with www.daily.co.uk)
- go to Domains > Manage DNS >
- Add a hostname > www
- type > CNAME
- data > your.no-ip.address.here
- Delete the www one that was already there
